Privacy

This site doesn't collect or store your answers. It has no database and no accounts, and it runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

On your device. While you sort, your progress is saved in your browser's local storage so you can pause and come back. Clearing your browser data erases it. “Start over” on the finish screen erases it too.
Inside your results link. When you finish, your piles, name, and any college ratings are packed into the link itself, after the # sign. That part of a link isn't sent to the website when it opens. Anyone you give the link to can open your report, so share it only with people you choose.
In your counselor's Google Sheet, if they set one up. Some counselors connect a Google Sheet that receives a copy of each finished sort. That copy goes straight from your browser to your counselor's Sheet and is governed by their practices, not this site.

Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address the way any website request does.

The Terms of Use explain what you can do with the tool, the card deck, and the site.
